On the morning of September 10, 2015, Ken passed away at The Medical Center of Plano in Plano, Texas.

Ken was well known for his music career as a blues harpist and songwriter. His design legacy will forever live on in the beautiful facilities that he designed over the years. Ken was an advocate of "Green" design long before sustainability became the trend. As a passionate Indian Rights activist, he worked relentlessly to ensure the protection of Indian burial sites, and to have accurate history of Native Americans to be taught in schools.
