Jean Beauvoir | The Wendy Williams Show

..Ranked as 'One of the Most Influential Rockers of All Time' (Guitar Magazine), multi-platinum recording artist Jean Beauvoir debuted his new single "Standing On the Corner for Ya", December 29, 2017.

Most easily recognized by his trademark Blonde Mohawk, artist Jean Beauvoir, originally with The Plasmatics, holds one of the most storied careers in music and film. Introduced as the "Greatest Punk Band in the World" by Tom Snyder on his late night TV show, The Plasmatics, were the most outrageous, controversial and successful Punk Rock bands of all time. The dominated world press with their legendary stage antics and rebellious Punk Rock message and influenced generations of up and coming musicians and fashion icons; influences that are still being heard and seen today.

Music by Jean Beauvoir has been featured in well known, successful films throughout his solo career including Cobra (Sylvester Stallone), Pet Sematary (Stephen King), Christmas with the Kranks (Tim Allen, Dan Aykroyd), Rock 'n Roll High School Forever (Corey Feldman), School of Rock (Jack Black), Shocker (Wes Craven), Flawless (Robert DeNiro), RV (Robin Williams), "Unthinkable" (Samuel L. Jackson) and Why Me? (James Franco) to name a few.

He has collaborated (written and/or produced hits) with the Ramones, KISS, John Waite, Debbie Harry, NSYNC, Lionel Richie, Nile Rodgers, Desmond Child, Doro Pesch, Andeas Carlsson, Jonghyun of the K-pop Super Group SHINee and many others, including five Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame inductees. In addition to his solo career in music he fronts his two successful rock bands Voodoo X and Crown Of Thorns. Music by Jean Beauvoir is featured on over 200-albums and he has sold over 40-million records to date worldwide and counting.

In addition to his time with the Plasmatics, Beauvoir was a longtime songwriter and producer for the Ramones. Today, both bands are hailed as two of the most revolutionary bands of the twentieth century and commonly referred to as the original O.G. Punks and the Godfather's and Grand Dame (Wendy O. Williams) of Punk & Metal.

Throughout his career, the iconic Blonde Mohawk image of Jean Beauvoir has been an ongoing major influence on US and international pop culture in music, sports, film and TV; and is featured in cartoons.

On December 20, 2017, he sat down with Debbie Mazella for a segment of her popular podcast "On The Verge" to speak about his career since. The interview features his 2017 holiday single "Where Are You Christmas", his new release "Standing On the Corner for Ya" which was personally selected by music mogul Jimmy Iovine (Interscope Records), his new movie "The Killer's Requiem" set for release in 2019 and what 2018 is bringing.
