Gerald Auger | Best Performance Drama

Native actor Gerald Auger wins Best Performance | Drama at the 2017 NFMLA Awards in Los Angeles, CA for his work in the highly acclaimed film Lost Face.

 

Adapted by Director Sean Meehan from the short story by Jack London, Lost Face is a psychological thriller. Since its release in 2016, Lost Face has won numerous awards in multiple categories. On May 6, 2017, Native actor Gerald Auger took home the award for Best Performance in a Drama for his work in the film.

Subienkow is in mortal danger. The fort he and his fellow fur thieves have erected in the snow is in flames, attacked by the very Indians they enslaved to build it - now only he and Big Ivan remain. As Ivan is tortured before him Subienkow must think fast to escape the terrible, protracted death that awaits him. He calls over the chief, Makamuk, and begins to bargain…
