American Trash #1 Rock Radio Single

..."American Trash" is from a self titled album featured in Classic Rock Magazine "AOR" which received 9 out of 10 favorable reviews from all major rock magazines including Classic Rock UK. Since promotions began within the US over the past few months music from the album continues hitting various radio charts. The album "American Trash" was written about a fictional strip club and pays tribute to the ladies who have supported musicians throughout the history of music. This week the single "American Trash" from the self titled album hit radio again @ #1 on Rock Invasion Radio.

Jean Beauvoir left the Plasmatics on the advice of David Lee Roth (Van Halen) after the release of the "Beyond the Valley of 1984" album. He then turned down offers by Prince and Billy Idol to pursue his dream of a solo career. He went on to a multi-platinum solo career and was a longtime songwriter and producer for the legendary Ramones, another iconic band who influenced generations of artist's and fashion icons as well. Together, the Plasmatics and the Ramones became "two of the most revolutionary bands" in music history. Their members became known as the Godfathers and Grand Dame (Wendy O. Williams) of Punk & Metal.

Throughout his storied career Jean Beauvoir has collaborated (written and/or produced hits) with KISS, The Ramones, John Waite, Debbie Harry, N'SYNC, Lionel Richie, Nile Rodgers, Desmond Child, Doro Pesch and many others, including five Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame inductees. He is ranked as one of music's "Top 50 Most Influential Black Rockers" of all time. American Trash" is his current album release with former writing partner Micki Free. The album was produced by Beauvoir who performs all instruments on the album sharing only some of the guitar tracks with Free.

His music has been in well known, successful films throughout his solo career including Cobra (Sylvester Stallone) - Pet Sematary (Stephen King) - School of Rock (Jack Black) - Christmas with the Kranks (Tim Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis and Dan Aykroyd) - Rock 'n Roll High School Forever and many more.
