"The Rise and Fall of Babylon" is the first full length album by the Disciples of Babylon produced by Grammy Award winning producer Andres Torres. Torres was also the producer for "Welcome to Babylon" the bands 2015 debut 3-song EP which skyrocketed the Disciples of Babylon into the forefront of Independent bands globally. Torres and the band carefully selected 3-songs for the debut EP and the results have been amazing. The 3-song EP "Welcome to Babylon" ignited radio stations and music blogs around the world with music from the debut 3-song EP still being picked up by radio stations and music blogs today.

Since April when the band completed recording for the new, full length album "The Rise and Fall of  Babylon, the magic of Producer Andres Torres has skyrocketed into music history. Torres and co-producer Mauricio Rengifo hold bragging rights to the #1 Single "Despacito" (feat. Justin Bieber) on Billboards Hot 100 Singles Chart for 12-Straight Weeks and counting. This week, Torres and Rengifo began celebrating Despacito being tied as the longest leading Hot 100 Single of 2017.

The music of the Disciples of Babylon incorporates key stylistic elements of all the rock greats to create a large stadium-worthy sound. The individual members of DOB are all seasoned musicians, who prior to joining forces, accumulated several national releases independently, along opening for legends like Aerosmith, KISS, The Dave Matthews Band, and Kid Rock on numerous global tours. The band is off to a big 2017, having just played the Gladiator MMA Championship Series with a performance at the iconic Los Angeles Memorial Sports Coliseum, and performing on the Mountain Dew extreme sports Dew Tour. The band is incredibly engaged with their fans on social media, so be sure to connect with them for all their latest updates.

We're hoping the Torres magic continues with the album "The Rise and Fall of Babylon" as well. If you like "Freedom" and "Without You" released in July wait until you hear the rest of the music.
