Talk About You Hits Top 30 Music Charts

Full Impact Radio, an affiliate station of the 365 Radio Network announced last week the single "Talk About You" has entered their Top 30 Charts for the week ending September 30, 2017. The single by Keith Secola was originally recorded for his 3rd album "Fingermonkey", and has since been a fan favorite included in shows as well as on other recordings.

The album Fingermonkey, on Secola's Akina Records label is "Alter-Native" music that defies categorization, running from beautiful instrumental ballads and Native rhythms to on-the-edge rock, folk-inspired tales, surreal audio explorations, and driving rock and hip hop-flavored work. He notes, "Our performances are like a traveling medicine show, where I interact with the audience through different landscapes." The album won "Best Independent Recording" at the 2000 Native American Music Awards, receiving a Best Blues nomination as well.

Keith Secola is an icon and ambassador of Native music. He is one of the most influential artists in the field today. Rising from the grassroots of North America, he is a songwriter of the people. Critics have dubbed him as the Native versions of both Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen. NDN Kars (Indian cars), his most popular song is considered the contemporary Native American anthem, achieving legendary status and earning him a well deserved cult following. It has been the number one requested song on tribal radio since the 1992. He is hailed as the "Godfather of Native Americana" and 2011 joined the ranks of Jimmy Hendrix, Hank Williams, Crystal Gale, and Richie Valens, and was inducted into the Native Music Hall of Fame.
